Default Author Role for Users - Wordpress?
Hey Guys
Just had a bit of funny goings on in 2 of my sites today, both WP. Wonder if anyone can help shed some light on it.
Fist one had Unable to connect to database on both main page and in wp-admin, it cleared itself so I don't really know what happened.
Second site I went on to I noticed an article had been submitted without my authorisation, a financial help article no less by some Eastern European girl. I checked my user settings and the default role was author, and I always knew it to be contributor unless you changed it.
So I guess someone's been in to the DB or what have you and changed it.
Has anyone suffered a similar problem and what did they find caused the problem?
