What is the possible malicious act that have done by this malware?

PROGRAMMING

On this conversation you will see that a stranger is inviting me to his website: http://www.facebook.com/firm.tk/posts/192243020965056

But when I visit it using Mozilla Firefox, there's a malware threat about .js file according to my Avast antivirus but my browser is continually load his homepage. And I report it to him..

He ask what's my antivirus, and I give it. And then, he say to check his site again but this time I use Google Chrome. And now, there's no threat appear..

Now I have a doubt about this man. Was he trying to steal something from me? Is his site safe?

And please tell me what is the possible damage or steal that he have done on my computer?

Browsers try to be as safe as possible. so, no javascript will be able to get to your c drive or install anything on your computer. on the other hand... javascript can be used to invoke user action within the browser redirecting you to personal spaces on the internet and performing actions on your behalf.

another scenario could be that this person has an exploit on an current or older browser version and hopes to benefit from this. this scenario is the most dangerous one.

either how, if you don't trust it, don't follow it.

I wouldn't visit if its not important, why are you needing to? what does the site have which you need?

  The person is in fact a warrior, with a website. I suspect they are simply trying to get more traffic. Not a threat.
