When selling a reseller or digital product on a website how does the customer get the download after hitting the order button? How do I get the files attached to the order button?

    you could simply use a product management script or a simple script like RapidActionProfits to handle this (but that script cost a little bit of money but its worth it)... the free way to do it I could help you if you want and create you a quick php script that would do this for you as well..

    If you Paypal you can use a redirect link from them that only works after payment if received.

    There are a number of low cost scripts that you can use to do this. I have several that I bought with resell rights. Some will encrypt the link. People can still steal the product if the figure out what your link is.

    There is this really neat free program called PHP_Easy_Downloader_ and it does wonders.

    It really depends on what you actually want to do.

    The most secure way is to have your download happen from above the public_html folder.

      Hey Jaypick, it all depends on your payment processor, the easist way is if your payment processor allows you to set up a re-direct after payment. I know PayPal allows this, as well as several other payment processors that I use. Google checkout does not have this feature for instance. It just depends...if you need any further help, feel free to PM me...

    Due a search for digital downloads and carts. there are a number of carts that will handle this. See which one fits your purposes and site design.

    I use DigivendorPro "Digital Download Delivery Software" it fairly reasonably priced and instead of uploading my digital files to my webserver I use box.net to store my files, these two systems work well together.

    The great think about digivendorpro is that you own it and host it on your server NO MONTHY fees. I think its like $49.00 and you can use it on as many domains as you would like......
