Viral or Just Wrong Settings?

A hosting client told me they can't access their website from internally at their office. generalkinematics.com is the website. And, I'm sure you'll be able to access it just fine. Click around to some pages.

But then, go to generalkinematics.com/cd-systems-finest

At the bottom of the page, you'll see a little icon for the IP Blacklist Cloud which is a wordpress plugin.

After a minute or two, you will get a timeout message and you will not be able to access the site after that.

My hunch is that your IP will be banned. In my case, my IP is prevented from seeing ANY website on my dedicated server with that email address.

1. How do I get my IP address unbanned? I need to be able to login to this client's site and test deactivating this plugin to see if that's the problem.

2. Should the real question I be asking is how do I un-ban my IP address from inside my dedicated server? And, if so, how might I do that?

3. Is there something else at play?

    The easiest way to deactivate a plugin is to connect through FTP, and rename or delete plugins folder.

    Btw, this site is really poorly loading. I'm not sure if I'm banned or server stopped working

    Why do they need that plugin? I'm using better wp security, if it's for limiting login attempts or similar.

    Btw, if you don't want to wait them to send you FTP data, and you have dynamic ip address,
    just reset your modem (you'll get new ip address), clear your cache, and you can even use chrome's incognito mode to get in.

      turns out there is a hardware issue that's been diagnosed so we have to take down the server later tonight. Hopefully it will stay on until then. This event just triggered it to be looked at. Thanks for looking. And, I'll remember the incognito suggestion.
