CPanel Domain E-mail accounts sending but not recieving

Hi,

I can send from an e-mail account I set-up via cpanel for the domain but not receive. I have just changed the name servers on my domain registration account. The domain name itself resolves when I put it in a browser so DNS has been updated OK. Don't know what's going. Some advice would be great.

Thanks in advance,
Seamy

Just found out that the e-mail account can receive e-mails sent from addresses with a .com domain. This is really strange. Proper stuck.

When you set up new DNS A records for a domain to resolve to a specific IP, you also need to specify one or more MX records for your mail servers. The mail server(s) further need to be configured to accept and handle email for that domain.

This is the process on the system side, if you administer your own box. There should be equivalent menus to do that on cpanel. Your admin should know how/if regular users can do this.

    Hello,

Not sure if you have root access to the box or not. If not, please contact your host. You are most likely missing a cpanel config somewhere.

    Hullo seamy82,
If the emails you send out do not delivery at all, then contact your host with the information regarding the issue. Some hosts give you a limit to the number of emails you can send out per hour; depending on their hosting packages.
So I think they will answer your question for this nondelivery of emails.
