website is in Drupal 6. We would like to add blogging to the website. WordPress is the way to go for blogging. So, can this be done within a Drupal 6?

    Short answer: No.

Longer answer: You can't install it inside of Drupal, but you could install it in a sub directory and run it that way. The two CMSs would have no connection at all. You would need to build a theme to match your current site. With some work, the Wordpress install could look like it was part of the site to an end user.

Why not move the entire site to wordpress? Wordpress is in my opinion so much better, more secure and faster anyway.

If you don't want to do that, then you have to install wordpress in a seperate directory and basically treat is as a seperate website. You can still install it under http://www.yourdomain.com/blog
It's just that the user base will be separated from the dupral one. I am sure there are plugins that make a bridge between dupral and wordpress users, but the effort to put into this is almost not worth it.
