How to make video site ?

PROGRAMMING

Hello Programmers, i know HTML, CSS, and a little bit of php, i cant seem to wrap my head around how to make entertainment sites like world star hip and youtube. I know how to put a video on a page and what not, but as far as it being dynamic, i have no idea.

Does anybody know how to make a video site ?

There's this great service called Vidcaster (http://www.vidcaster.com/) that you can use to roll your own video site. It's free if you publish with YouTube. Instead of coding everything, it might make more sense to offload some of the responsibility to a hosted service like they have, at least at first. On the business end, it makes more sense both from a marketing test point of view, and one of cost.

How to make entertainment sites is going to vary from programmer to programmer because there are a lot of ways to do it.

Take a look at the demos here:

Depends on what features you want in your site.
You can do it dinamic with php and have a database of the videos
or you can just show youtube videos in your site with the youtube api
its not as complicated as you think but it take some time to learn how to do it

There are plenty of video sites. It depends on your requirements of your site. You can go through site like You Tube, Vimeo, yahoo video.
