What Makes a Nav Bar NOT Show in WordPress?

Goofy WordPress. I can pull up three of my own computers for a friend's website, cleared the cache, and still I see the nav bar just fine. My friend brings it up on her screen and no nav bar. How do I trouble shoot that one??

What nav bar? Do you mean the browser nav bar or a specific site nav bar?

twobearssolutions.com - right under the top banner should be nav button links for home, about, events, etc.

...Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just set there.

yep, same for me in chrome, ie and ff. But, the website "owner" sees no nav buttons on her screen. I even logged in to her screen to see it for myself.

Then I visited the website on my iphone and, viola, no nav bar buttons. So, the only way I can duplicate what the owner is seeing is on a phone.

Is this perhaps a responsive theme where the menu shrinks down to one button on smaller displays?
Yes this seems to be the issue because when I run emulations in firefox it disappears at some resolutions.
        Solution 1- dump the theme
Solution 2 look for the css code that changes with the screensize. Find the screensizes where the menu bar disappears and move the menu bar to the right. (will re-edit when I've checked this)
No its not position. It looks like its collapsing improperly at some resolutions and changing css visibility to hidden. It is not going to be easy to fix this theme.

WordPress isn't the problem, and it isn't 'goofy'.

The css of the site needs reworking. Some elements collapse at a certain window width, others don't. This is solely the doings of the theme, not WP itself.

OH! You guys are so right. I never thought to shrink my screen. Thanks guys. I have a better theme in mind for them anyway so this is good ammunition to inspire her to change themes.
