Hi Guys,

i am building some new wordpress blogs.
In the most themes are to many useless stuff included that i would like to edit. At the moment i download the theme and edit it with Notepad++. But thats more try and error then anything else.

So what am i looking for?

I like to have a tool, plugin, editor, programm or anything else where i can load the template and edit it directly in the layout view.

I hope that somebody can help me with that problem.

Greetings
Lansky

Maybe notepad++ has an HTML preview.
There are several editors i know that have built in browsers.
UltraEdit and Edit+ both have an option to show the rendered html pages in their browsers.
But if you have any dynamic elements in it like javascript (will most of the time work) or php snippets, it will not work.

    Hope that helps.

The easiest way would be to install Xampp so you can edit the files and test the theme locally on your computer,

...Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just set there.
