    It's good that people express their opinion about what is bad in PHP language, because it helps to improve.

    But I disagree with the "missing features" section (xss, csrf, authentication, etc.) - because there are various ways for building these features, so why leave developers without the possibility of choice?

    PHP frameworks are built for this purpose, after all. Creators of frameworks build the libraries, classes, functions so that fellow developers wouldn't need to reinvent the wheel. And it's good because we can choose the most appropriate frameworks for our projects.

    But why make the very basement of this - the programming language - too complex? We shouldn't. Because sometimes we DO need to reinvent the wheel. And how are we going to do it if we won't be able to get on the ground to the very basics?
