Setting up SMTP server

Has anyone here with experience in setting up SMTP server? I've got a new SMTP server with 30+ IP address.

I got one guy to help me setup my SMTP server with IP rotation. I'm currently sending out 30,000+ emails per day so that I can slowly warm up each of my IP address for one month.

However, the SenderScore is not reporting that way. Some of my IPs are reporting low sending amount, some IPs are reporting high sending amount. Doesn't look like even rotation.

Can anyone help me check on my SMTP server?

I've never set up my own mailserver, but I hear it is a pain in the rear.

I use mailgun myself at the moment for outgoing mail, but at your scale, you could probably use Amazon's SES. I believe they charge like $0.10 / thousand emails.

Not sure if that fits what you're looking for, just thought I'd suggest it.

Setting up your own mail server is a real pain, I looked long and hard at doing it and I don't really know if the benefits outweigh the frustration compared to, just using a mail server provider. I use Infusionsoft on a daily basis and over the course of a month could send 500,000 emails but it comes at a cost.
