Is the price negotiable. One thing i am confused on, Google and many other search engines do not prefer buying links. So how will it effect organic results if anyone buys your link.

The price is negotiable only if you buy for a year.
This is why you will get good organic results, because I do not do much link selling on this site and there are very less OBL links. ANd a PR7 should definately give you a PR5 in the next google update.
