| Hi, I have been approached by a company to add a banner ad to one of my sites but I have no idea what to quote as a price. Could someone give me some advice. The sizes that were sent were: 60x600, 240x400, 300x250, 336x280, 468x60, 728x90. Is it charged per week, per month. How to payments work? Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks Tiptopcat |

the prices also depended on the base of website value ...tell me you website name than we will tell you the rate of your ad space... it's up to you that what type of deal you have done with company either per week basis or per month basis |

I have the same situation... lately, I've been contacted and they want to advertise on my website but I don't have any idea how much I'm going to charge. Their business is really related to my website's theme and contents. My website is new, just around 2-3 months old but already have traffic from the SERP as it ranks already for few keywords I have optimized plus other long tail related keywords. This is the first time I have been approach and I really have no idea about the pricing. |

Charge what you think your site is worth. its easy to get free estimates all over the web. Like said before. What can your website so for this advertiser? If you fit there demographic profile then you can obviously charge more. Just come up with a price you believe to be fair. Then after 1 month. Check and see how the link is doing. If its working out quite well for them you can get more money out of them. Remember, its easier to start to low and raise your prices. People will pay if there liking the service. Also if you throw out to high of a number at first, your taking the risk of running them off.

I think it would be better to go low, but how low? $5, $10, $20 per month? |
