Relaunching my site - Any SEO tips?

Hi Everyone,

I am looking for some advice on an old site of mine which I am about to revamp.

Its a fishing holiday website for a company in Spain. The site has some good content with a link to my blog on blogger.

The site name is www.fatanglingtours.com. The site has got a bit messy over the years and I am now about to revamp it. As part of my relaunch I am seeking some advice on how best to do it.

It currently gets anywhere between 50 and 80 hits per day. Its a page rank 4 site and is optimised on various fishing holiday search terms. Infact, a lot of the searches I get are for the term Fat Angling Tours. We have been doing a lot of branding in fishing magazines.

There are various search terms I want to focus on, mainly around Carp and coarse fishing which is what the site specialises in. Ones that get around 2000 searches per month.

I havent been actively promoting the site for a while now, so am looking to kick start this off. I would like to get to 100 - 200 searches per day.

The site is built in dreamweaver, I am thinking of going down the joomla route and changing the site entirely. Although not sure if this will affect Search engine rankings.

I would really appreciate some advice on the following

1. What do you think of the site? What works what doesent?
2. Any ideas on improvements to the look and structure of the site
3. Seo tips?
4. Any WSO offers you think would be of benefit to my relaunch?
5. Should I consider affiliate marketting my holiday products? Do you think their would be an interest? Its a great niche with lots of searches
6. Should I install a wordpress blog on my own site. Will this help with rankings?

Anyway sorry for the long message, any info/advice would be much appreciated.

Many thanks Steve

I think the site is beautiful, and anyone interested in fishing would enjoy looking around the site. From a sales (and seo) perspective, I'm afraid there may be too many links on the homepage. Both the customer and the engine are going to have trouble deciding which content is most important. I think you may want to consider some consolidation of links.

When you change to a new CMS platform don't forget to either maintain current popular URL's or to redirect them to new ones otherwise you risk losing all PR you have gained so far.

Ok thanks for the advice. I will make sure I do not change the names of my pages. An Ideas on how I should structure the linking? Obviously some of the links are there do direct people to fishing packages, the blog, other info ect. However a lot of the links I put in with anchor text to promote a specific keyword. Is this the wrong way to do it?

Should I focus on Several keyworks and their respective LSI works on my home page, and then build each of the other pages based around other important keywords and do the same.

Also from a link building perspective, should I social book mark each page with the anchor text ok the keyword? An also do the same again with links for each page?

      Thanks
      Steve

Thanks Mhuktar. Will take into consideration. I am still not sure what I should do to optimise my site for the search engines. I currently only get 50 to 80 hits a day. I feel I should be getting much more than this for a page rank 4 site with good content.
