Hi I'm interested in the genesis theme and was wondering if there is any benefit from a seo perspective switching to genesis theme from the twenty twelve theme? Would love some input from users of the genesis theme if they seen any difference in seo after switching.

    There is not much difference between them. Genesis is good if you want to develop custom child themes with all the hooks they offer, but if you're looking a clean, simple and fast loading website i'd go with twentytwelve.

    I think I decided to go with genesis the online problem is that I can't seem to find a suitable child theme. What I'm looking for is something similar to magoosh.com but with more with background. Does anybody have experience editing the genesis framework and would know if that would be difficult to accomplish? Any feedback would be appreciated been stuck at this phase for a while
