Is siloing bad for SEO?

As far as I know siloing is when you have links at the bottom of your page linking to different internal pages - Has anyone on here ever installed a siloing plugin to WordPress or similar?

I am considering doing it for my site Shipping Software for Bulk Parcel Delivery | Multiple Carriers Tracking | eBay & Amazon Courier Services as currently my internal linking isn't very good.

Any thoughts?

Silo link structures are a bit more involved than just links on the bottom of the page.

This kind of information is widely available, just use Google and search. Make sure you read a bunch of articles on the topic to get an idea of the different 'takes' on how it can be done and then once you have a few different options come on back and discuss the benefits and drawbacks of each approach.

hi no that is not bad for your site but too much adding internal links is bit confusing and vigarous both for google and users so use it with a measureable limit and use proper anker text ......

Vice versa, siloing is very good on SEO because of it's internal linking structure. Google love's SILO website result of more ranking.

Siloing is of course good for SEO. But if your website is not already set up accordingly, then it might be difficult to implement properly. If your website is already getting traffic and making sales, it might be best to leave it.

Your not going to silo a typical site/blog webpage with a plugin.

Silos aren't simply about adding internal links, it's also about removing irrelevant internal links & optimizing each series of webpages to theme each individual silo subject.

Like already said silo links aren't footer links though the links can be located anywhere on the page/s. Saying footer links makes it sound like a bad cookie cutter system which it's not.
