Cheap domains for SEO?

What do you think, I will be able to rank for low competition keyword on Google first page with cheap domains like .pw and .io ?
Or it's neccasery to have a .com ?

I think it is better to choose .com. firstly, Google tends to rank .com better than others and it is convenient for your visitors to remember your domains.

it is bit easier to rank the keywords with .com domain bcoz .com doamins have good priority .

Its not necessary to have a .com name only but it is so popular and preferred extension that even if you omit adding to your domain name, your visitors automatically assume or add it (as .com.)
