Can I get penalized for adding a link to a fresh domain in my WF signature?

Hello guys.

I haven't been very active in the SEO field over the last few years, nor on the Warrior Forum.

I just added my startup in my signature, but can that potentially trig any flags over at big G?
I would imagine, as a sudden boost in backlinks (From 0 to 600+) might not work well with all the new updates.

Any thoughts on this?

    All the links from here are re nofollow (they pass no direct SEO value), so Google ignores them for ranking purposes, wouldn't matter if you had a sitewide backlink (apparently 3 million pages indexed in Google) from here with a nofollow attribute.

    Only value is from user click through, if you aren't active will be practically non-existent.
