If I setup an Adwords campaign that I want to target in a country that does not speak English, do I need to translate the ad and keywords or does their browser just do it automatically?

    Hi moneyflow,

Your ads will not be translated. You can advertise in non-English speaking countries as long as you have your campaign's language set to English it will only display ads when a browser has it's default language set to English.

If you want to advertise in the other language you will need to setup a campaign for that language and create ad text and landing pages in that language.

you might try using AdwordsAnywhere.com, search some other countries and see what existing ads show up and get ideas on how they are written. I used to do ads in Japanese, which was a challenge since you are using non-roman character sets.

I don't think there will be any problem... I think viewers' browsers will change the ad... I have seen several non-English ads even in my own PC by mistake...
