Hello Warriors.. wondering if you can give some advice on what to when removing posts from a website.

I have been removing some posts from my site and redirecting those old urls to other urls on my site.

Should I make url removals in my google webmaster tools? Or will the seleted pages naturally drop off by themselves? So far the old urls are still appearing in the serps, its been a few days so far...

Should I block them in my robots.txt?

Since you are redirecting the pages, there's no need to remove them from the index. They will be automatically removed once Google discovers the redirects.
