Linking Out From Heavily Penalized Sites - So Far So Good!

Yeah well shoot me, one of my SEO sites has FOOTER links from 15 Penguin 3.0 penalized Amazon affiliate sites and the rankings for that SEO site keep on increasing.

Today I checked rankings again for 4 buying keywords and the moved to #1 #3 #4 and #8, not a ton of volume but it's traffic that converts very well.

The site doesn't have any other links, only footer links from these heavily tanked domains.

Guess links from penalized domains are fine, or maybe they've always been fine, who shall say. I do know some guys that rank in Amazon niches using heavily spammed viagra type of sites in their private blog network, those sites are doing fine as well.

Maybe we should all head over to expireddomains.net and purchase those heavily spammed domains lol.

haha well, good to hear that they are doing well! ----
but maybe its worth not getting carried away - maybe its fine now, but won't be forever

I found some of PBN sites that has some of their own rankings don't keep them that long, but the links coming from them are still of value from the DA/PA etc - but I would still keep away from those v!agra links, bad neighbours

I ain't gonna build a strategy around it, was just amused by it.

The SEO site has been stable for a long time already and kept on increasing for the last couple of months, and now after this Penguin update even more lol.

Will be interesting to see what happens during the next Penguin refresh, Google probably hasn't had time to evaluate these links yet as pre-penguin 3.0 those domains were free of penalties so it's kind of a border case.

That's just Matt C. messing with your head.

He's sitting in the Googleplex basement drinking Ovaltine about to pull the plug on those links.
