Trustworthiness of survey sites (online Income)

· would any one tell me whether these "Toluna, Pinecone, IPSOS, Vivatic, The OpinionPanel, MySurvey, Valued Opinions, SurveyBods, Global Test Market, Hiving, PanelBase, Harris Poll, iPoll, Opinion Outpost, Mindmover, YouGov, New Vista"sites are safe and trustworthy to work. And more importantly do they pay whatever I will earn.

    if you have to ask.....
yes sites pay you to take surveys, in reality though - most of the surveys wil probably be 'not applicable' to you so they wont let you take them. And the ones that you do take, with give you something like 10-20cents for 25 minutes of your time. You would earn better money being a bagger in walmart.

ps. this is not a search engine optimisation question! - admin please move it??

You can rest assured with that Toluna, Pinecone Research, IPSOS, MySurvey, GlobalTest Market, iPoll and Opinion Outpost will be legitable and paying survey sites. I have used all of them (longer ago) and they all paid ONCE you achieved the specific points goal or money goal they ask for, which is usually a around $20. The only question that remains is: do you really want to spend/ I would even say waste your time filling out surveys, where you could use that same time efficiently to build up a profitable online income source?

With profitable online income source I am referring to better ways to make money online, such as with IM. Building a list, creating and selling your own products (or PLR products), becoming a freelancer, becoming an affiliate. All these things will turn out WAY more profitable in the end with the given time.

These sites are awful (in general, not necessarily the ones you mentioned). Most of them will even waste your time saying that you live in a country where some surveys don't apply and so on... Really, it's not worth it..

I have used a few of them before and you need to reach a certain number of $ to get paid.....my experience taught me that filling up surveys is not the best way to use my time to make money online.

Have a look around this forum and I'm sure you will find more profitable ways to make an income (ie: affiliate marketing, cpa etc)

    Your time is more valuable.

This is how the survey sites work: You get paid around 50 cents to fill out a lengthy survey. You do that enough and you can eventually get to the $100 you usually need for minimum payout. Trouble is, these surveys are in relatively short supply. So it takes quite some time to do them. Now, when you see the $50 payouts on some, these require you to use a credit card and either purchase something outright or take a trial.

Do I do surveys? Hell no.

I just make it my business to know how others conduct their business.

You'll earn 'pocket money' with surveys but never a full or part time income. You would do better by starting your own blog and getting advertisers or promoting affiliate products as this would provide a good residual income, rather than relying on one off type surveys.
