Didn't know that until I checked wikipedia:
PageRank - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I thought it was like the page's rank. lol

    That is interesting, I was under the same illusion that you were - I guess it sounded better than "BrinRank"?

    I found the 2nd most interesting thing about the article was that the PageRank patent is assigned to Stanford University and not to Google.

    P.S. Has anyone figured out why Google didn't put a PageRank indicator on Chrome?

    That's an interesting point. I never knew both the facts and also I was under the same illusion - and so we don't have a site rank but only a page rank

    Shoot, I didn't know that either. And just like hipnol, many a time have I argued that pagerank is Page rank, not Site rank... LOL
