Christmas Season has officially started? Traffic +100% on all Amazon sites

Exciting times young Warriors. We're here, finally. Christmas 2014 - where Amazon Affiliates can rejoice in love as shoppers all across the States empty their bank accounts.

All of my Amazon Sites are +100% traffic yesterday/today AT LEAST. One of my sites is pulling in 40 visitors/hour, as opposed to the usual 15-20/hour.

Rankings aren't up. I can only put it down to seasonal marketing/advertisements and people searching for reviews.

Long live Christmas 2014 - best of luck to all Amazon Affiliates on a healthy xmas!

    Yep. Don't know about the Uk but the kick off nowadays is right after they move out the halloween stuff. A while back it used to be after thanksgiving (black Friday)

      Why I have the feeling to set up some scraper sites and buy millions of links in a desperate attempt to rank a whole bunch of niches in a matter of days / weeks

      But first of to Laos for a few days, when I get back I might do just that, worth a try isn't it.

      Plenty of aged domains in stock that can handle a bit of spam to avoid the waiting period or whatever people like to call it.

    My wife was complaining yesterday Pinterest has gone from all about Halloween to all about Christmas just one day after Halloween!

    What happened to Bonfire Night for us in the UK and thanks giving in the US?

      Meh, if my girlfriend attempts to put the tree up before December I'll be slapping dat ass!

      A few pubs round here were hanging up Christmas stuff back in July/August - it's ridiculous!

      The USA can start their Christmas whenever though. More pennies for me!

        August is a bit early but Last Thursday in November (Thanksgiving) was bound to give way eventually. Most retailers make the bulk of their money Christmas season so extending it just makes sense

          One of my affiliate sites is going to hit about 360-400 visitors total today. Two days ago, the average was around 180-220.

          I don't know what's happening, or why people are searching for mass product reviews, but I like it. I assume it's only going to get better too.

          I've already told the girlfriend that this years Nov/Dec/Jan earnings are going on a brand new BMW. She wasn't happy, but it's a done deal. Bring it on!

    Guess I missed the boat this year

    I have been working so hard on my local business sites, I have not put together a site to try and make a few bucks . I am still fresh and learning and I know this takes time so with all the threads and everyone's help I can maybe try and tackle online marketing in the next coming months.

    Hope you guys make some good money this Christmas and make sure you save some money

    As for me.. I am trying to find a niche that I can try and rank for and start my Journey....

    When I first got into affiliate sites I used to give the earnings to my wife to spend on the family, never expected to make tens of thousands of dollars from affiliate sales (thin affiliate sites as well) and she started to get cheques from Amazon for $10,000 in her name (put it all in her name as well).

    I don't do that any more :-)
