I have a site which has been deindexed by google, but I can´t understand why or how (checking with the info:www.site.com in google)

Will it come back if I continue to build links, should I resubmit it to google?, any tips?

Sincerely
Karl

That's crazy cause I was just looking for the same type info....my site is indexed but was dropped from the serps....i was tracking it for a month or so and it was climbing up to the 2nd page of Google and just now when I go to check it....it's no where to be found within the top 100...but it's still there as far as indexed go....also....Googles acting wierd...when i type in just like this "painting Lynchburg, VA" i see 6,500 on results but if you go to page three all of a sudden there is only 29 results...what's up there?

Your answer Challe would be that your site was probally sandboxed by Google...they do that from time to time to keep the spam down....what happens is that they will think maybe your site is a spam site based on a few spam trigger keywords then bury the site for about 3 months or less and then bring it back out like normal..yes....if you continue to build links and pretend that it is not buried it will come out ranking well....normally a spam site will just run out and open up a new site and forget the old one.....3 months is too long for those folks to wait....

You need to find out the reason why G banned your site. It may be the case that you have too many incoming links to your website and this is why your site was banned.

Dont do anything and try to send email to G and ask for manual interruption in this case. They can better tell you about the situation.

Again the site's disappear can be due to low traffic, hosting problem or many other reason.

Dont take any action till you know why it was banned!

Great! I'm going to go out and build links to my competitors' sites so I can get them banned in Google!

        Hi bgmacaw,

LOL, I have actually had this happen to a couple of my websites, 5000 plus links from porn and hacker sites. I'm happy to report that I'm still ranking number 1 for my targeted keywords and traffic is stronger than ever.

I'm sure that this number of sudden backlinks triggered a review by the spamdexing teams, but if your site meets all of Googles guidelines you've nothing to worry about.

The only negative effect was the number of automated spamming and hacking probes. This created a unique opportunity to build my own personal database of well known malicious attack vectors and untrustworthy IP addresses. I used this data to build my own set of automated blocking and banning tools which I now use on all of my websites.

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.

mawstero2010 said it all. Don't do a think until you email google asking for a detailed reason for the ban.

How long has it been down for?

They do go and return eventually.

Is it a straightforward site that Google loves - or is it dodgy?

It's sickening, but there was one time my site was hacked and I had to start from scratch. As for your case, wait til you know why it is banned.

Is your site banned or did the PageRank just get dropped? Sometimes the PageRank can get dropped if you changed something about your site, such as URL's or other structural items. If that's the case, then you likely will get picked back up again when Google figures it out.

      Hi Challe77,

If you have registered and verified your site at Google Webmaster Tools, they will alert you to any problems under the diagnostics section. If you find nothing listed there and you have reviewed everything and I do mean everything in their webmaster guidelines and there are no unresolved issues you can make re-inclusion request from within Webmaster Tools.

      Good luck

There really isn't any way to contact Google directly about these challenges. That's a common frustration with site owners and webmasters. If you are a Google webmaster member you can go into their forum and ask a question... then possibly a Google employee or other expert will answer it for you there. If you are not a member I suggest you become one. Go to Google > Business Solutions > Webmaster Solutions and register your site. If your site has been banned it's likely they will tell you there. They may not tell you why but you should have an opportunity to appeal it.

The situation you reffered is very common. During the first period, maybe two months or more, your site is very likely to be put into Google's sandbox if it gets very good ranking or very large website traffic in short time. Don't take it personally. Continue to build links, refresh your site, add more valuable information in your site... Then after this period, it will return and get better ranking. Remember: it's a period to build trust relationship with google and never build links with those sites which has been punished by google. Further more, I recommend you to learn more SEO skills.

First try to find out why it was deindexed. If you find it because of too many backlinks then dont dare to build any more backlinks.
