How will this issue affect my website

One of my websites hosted at Godaddy faced some issue and all of a sudden its traffic went down from 300-400 to 0-1 per day. I blamed Google update for that and thought it was time to move on. However, after about 15 days when I went to just browse around the website (only because I really like it), I saw that all category pages/blog posts were showing 404 error! I contacted GoDaddy for this and they helped me rectify the problem. Now the site is up and running.

My question is, will my site get the same traffic back again? How will this issue affect my website? I am really worried because it had nothing to do with the update, but with GoDaddy's internal server problem.

Login to GWT and mark all the errors as fixed, fetch and resubmit. This will tell Google you're ready for them to begin the process all over again. It's possible you'll get your traffic back, but it very well might take twice as long as it did to build up the first time around.

It is a two year old website. And it took about 4-6 months to build traffic after its creation. Will it take that much time?

It won't take long so far as your backlinks are still alive and pointing to your site. It should just take a few days to a few weeks if the drop in traffic really didn't result from a Google penalty.
