Setting up my company site with h1 tags

Hey guys I recently launched my company website and I am now wanting to configure it with seo.

I am currently running Wordpress, do you recommend seo yoast or the all in one seo plugin?

I tried looking in my themes editor to locate the h1 tag but I can't find it. Can someone show me how to add the h1 tag properly ? Does it have positive effect on our sites?

    Most wordpress themes will put the post/page title as an H1 automatically.

    For something like your homepage, it looks like whatever slider plugin they're using will use one of the text fields as your H1.

    If you need to put H tags anywhere else in the content, either the theme will automatically do that for certain blocks of text (widget titles, etc). Otherwise in your post/page editor you can use the dropdown in the upper left of the editor to change the text of whatever you highlight from the standard text to an H tag.

    If it's the site in your forum sig, your top/left logo is wrapped in an <h1> tag with the image alt-text as Surber Signs.

    The <h> tags can be used to target multiple keyword variations for a single page. Example, you could have different SERP titles for a single ranked webpage where that SERP title would change depending on each search query.

    Example <h> tags (SERP listing titles) for a single webpage:
    • Where can I buy vinyl stickers
    • How much do vinyl stickers cost
    • How long do vinyl stickers last
    • etc...

    That example above could easily be an FAQ page.
