hi who has used the white spark citation service?

Would you say 20 citations at $5 per citation would see a local business on page 1of the maps ?

There's a lot more to it than just getting citations.

Talked to a potential client earlier this week with 68 citations and not on the maps. Across those 68 citations he was using 4 different urls as his home page. 4 different physical addresses. And two different phone numbers.

His N.A.P. is so screwed he'll never rank for anything till he cleans it up.

Largely depends on the competition. Trying to rank a restaurant in New York City is a lot different than ranking one in Gettysburg, PA.

Probably need more than that if the niche is a little competitive.

You can also try Moz local for about $90 a year they submit to some of the main directories..

Then you can look for specific citations like hyper local type citations if that is not enough.

  • Not sure if Moz is like other outfits like Yext, but I would avoid them. They send out a limited amount of info to citation sites and you cannot log directly into the business profiles to make changes, ie: adding more photos, changing the description, etc. Unfortunately, the convenience these services offer comes at a high price.

We deliver a detailed report with logins and passwords for all your listings. If you change your NAP in the future you can easily change your own listings, or if you don't have time, you can hire us to do the updates. You're certainly not messed.
