Title says it all really,

If I was to go around and duplicate my competitors citations, how long would it take for that website to move up in the google maps ranking?

    How long is a piece of string? It depends on many things as well as who the competitors are, how many citations you are talking about not to mention how long it will take you to copy them.

    If you were to copy your competitor exactly in every way you will just end up the same and probably rank below them as they did it first. Try to think of ways that you can be better.

    How do you know the old competition citation/pages aren't established authority pages (even a little authority)?

    In other words copying doesn't necessarily mean you'll be on the same level as the competition considering your own citation pages will all be new webpages. New vs established.

    How long will it take? Do it & find out.
