Buy domain for certain keyword and link to amazon

Hi ,

anyone tried to buy a domain for a certain keyword let's say "iPhone 6" and link this domain directly to iPhone 6 listing on Amazon ( amazon affiliate link ) ...

In case it's the most stupid idea , just say so

What will doing this achieve exactly?, other then redirecting a domain to someone elses website?

It's like driving by Apple & flipping their lawyers a bird. You'll be lucky If they don't come after you for the domain name.

Whatever your doing with an EMD like that expect it to be temporary.

Avoid domain names containing trademarked names. Even if you do what you described, unless you can find a way to drive traffic to the domain name, you won't make any money.

  You would be violating amazon terms. It ends right there
