Hi Warriors,
I'm not sure if in your country is available JustEat (a big company which takes online orders for pizzas and food in general) but I was wondering how do you judge his seo/ranking?
I mean, with all the seo optimization possible and a solid backlinking structure, would I be able to rank before him?
I live in Italy and I would like to rank myself for the keyword "pizza a domicilio Torino" (which translated is "Pizza on delivery Turin").
I am really curious to see a feedback from the community and a judjement of how is their SEO.
(He's also ranked with "pizza on delivery *cityname*" for many more cities).
Thank you in advance.
Kind Regards
Andrea

When it comes to "JustEat's site, they have a nice authority site, but that doesn't mean you can't out rank them for your long tail keywords.

Authority sites rank well even if the ranking pages don't have any backlinks, so it might be very difficult to outrank them. Targeting less-searched long-tail keywords will make it easier to outrank them but bear in mind that you may not get a 100% success rate in outranking them.

Justeat has a fairly decent authority but it's nothing compared to something like Amazon, BBC or anything like that so it doesn't have that much of an advantage, or in other words it won't be that hard to outrank them if they have zero links pointing at a page.

They have links from only 250 domains and they need to rank the whole site with that so I wouldn't let others scare you.

Just build some solid links and you'll outrank them soon enough, obvious no idea how large your city is, you might need the help of a private blog network for additional strength, as pizza delivery is on itself quite competitive in most medium sized city's, no matter where you go really.

i think you might be able to pick up some .it domains for cheap at something like expireddomains.net, just filter on what has been released in the last 30 days, and after that only sort on the last 24 hours, sometimes when you're quick you can pick up quite some nice deals.
