Forget about PageRank. Google has stopped updating toolbar PR and it's essentially dead now. Use MOZ metrics instead to get an idea of how authoritative your site is in Google.

page rank depends on a various factors and not one. In a segment to be confined with, I believe that domain age, the no of backlinks, the authoritative backlinks all carries importance in the approach.

Focus on good content. Update your website,like publishing a new blog post at least once a week. Make sure your contents matches the description and keywords of your websites. Avoid overloading keywords into your site. Optimize your website. Share it on your social media networks.

Firstly, I want to say that PR has no longer useful when talking about SEO, it hasn't been updated for more than 1 year. For the differences between PR0 and PR NA: PR 0 means google has some data and determined that the site has no PR. PR NA means google doesn't have enough data to determine the site's PR

I think Google does not update your PR now, because you have to make some spam backlinks and your website turn into spam. Don't wary stop all SEO work of your website and delete spam backlinks, then you can make proper and good quality backlinks as like Guest blog and Press realize then you can turn into PR O. Good luck.

When it comes to getting your site on the first page of Google, your page rank is great indicator of how well your page is performing. There is no value for PR now, better concentrate more on social media optimization, to promote your site and try to get quality back links. Once you got quality back links and good social exposure than you can you can see some good growth in your rankings and traffic and of course do best on page optimization

I highly recommend you to stop worrying about PR as it is not a good metric to base your marketing campaigns upon. Google does not update the PR everyday and it is just an estimated automated number by Google on how they see your website. Focus on your original content and brand rather than wasting your valuable energy on those useless metrics.

PR of NA: It means that there is no associated PR for this website at this point in time.
PR 0: It means that the PR is 0 - self-explanatory.

PR, PageRank is all about links. Nothing more, nothing less.

Has nothing to do with NOTHING else.

So, anyone telling you PR has to do with domain age and other nonsense,
avoid them...especially if they have SEO with their name.

You can lose links, or be found to be doing link schemes. If so, your
PR can drop. Any SEO person should know this.

Now here's the killer:

PageRank is updated all the time. Any SEO person who says it's not,
is to be avoided. PageRank matters. Any SEO person who says PR
does not matter, or makes a silly statement that PR is no longer updated,
is just not with it.

A bit confuse here. Some of you say forget PR. Some still concern with PR.

I would believe with what Paul said. The reason is that where ever I search Google with a high competitive keyword, the top result are mostly come with the links with a higher PR than the ones on a lower result. So whether this PR is updated or not it definitely still matters.

Big G’s in progress not to like that people were concentrating on that metric, and started to delay the information in the toolbar, in the sense that there was a 6 to 9 months or maybe longer setback involving what Page Rank Big G’s assigned to you and what the publicly available PR was. And there were Comments and uncertainties that Big G’s no longer Utilized PR and had stirred to used Trust Rank, which was not accessible publicly but was the new version of PR.

When you changes of PR?

Just forget Page Rank. It will not effect in SEO and may be it will not update in future. Just try to improve Keyword ranks to get more traffic from search engine.

Google PR lastly updated on Dec 2013, there is no use of worrying about PR. Just try to get quality backlinks, this will brings you good traffic. Try to concentrate on traffic of the website.

No need to create backlinks from page rank 0/1 it is nothing without waste of time 1 or 2 backlinks from page rank 7/8 better than thousands of page rank 0/1 backlinks. So try to create backlinks from PR 7+ sites or buy it from professional seller.

The best way to get a high page rank is by focusing on creating world-class
content!you can read my post about how to get backlinks and improve your
PR but,if you don't focus on creating great content you will not achieve good
results that fast.this is the step one and also the short cut! step two is about social
syndication.
you have to know where to submit your content.if you just create great content and
don't let others judge you will never see any benefits.but how can you promote your
content?i must say via facebook and twitter.you have to discover where your audience
is hanging out and give your best content to them.if they judge your job as valuable,
you will get what you want:exposure,influence,backlink.
