I and want to try optimizing my local listings on google.ca for top ranking. Is this a good start?
1. Build a good site with tons of geotargeted content
2. Good on page and off page SEO for website
ie. Build high quality backlinks to the website URL, etc
3. Add URL to G+ Listing
4. Drip Feed Reviews
a) yahoo local, yellow pages, kudzu, insider pages and merchant circle (1 a week on each listing)
b) drip feed reviews to G local listing (1 a week on each listing)
5) citations
a) purchase citations and drip feed over several months
b) make sure to have the same NAP (name address and phone) for local listing
c) regular citations first then the second or third month do the map citations
6) Make sure G listing is complete by posting Youtube videos and images on the Google + page
What do you think of this plan? Anything missing?
