Ranking on Bing & Yahoo

Ok, I am just getting back in to ranking my sites and would love to know what's working best now for Bing & Yahoo. I get a decent amount of traffic from these two search engines and would like to just focus on them. The sites that I have are slapped by G and I don't want to build new ones, or try to figure out how to rank G.

With that said, what's working best with these two search engines and then second what are the best services available so that I can just outsource this work?

I haven't personally used Yahoo and Bing for web searches, but have noticed on producing a new website that although Google indexed my whole site extremely quickly, Bing has only indexed my home page, and a very old version at that.

If you're using Wordpress, then SEO by Yoast does give you the option to automatically Ping Bing and Yahoo every time you add/edit a post/page.

Roughly how much of your traffic are you getting from each one in comparison to Google?

From personal experience, I have yet to speak to someone who actually uses Yahoo or Bing searches, so I've never thought much of trying to rank a website specifically with them. (Although surely they must use similar factors to Google - Links, Social Media, Content Quality and Frequency etc.?

The algorithms of Yahoo and Bing are very much the same. If you apply the same techniques for ranking on Google, you will rank automatically for Yahoo and Bing. The main concepts in SEO are the same. All search engines care about quality relevant backlinks, decent original content and properly optimized fast websites with images and videos.

    Hope that helps!

Thank you for the answers so far! I would say I used to generate 40-50 leads/month off of them. I own an insurance agency and I find that although it doesn't even come close to Google, I can do things like target Michigan insurance phrases and then go after the bigger phrases like auto insurance and it will rank me on a local Michigan basis for that phrase. I have lost my rank on the Michigan phrases over the last year due to not doing any seo. I still seem to rank 7 or 8 depending on the geographical location for auto insurance and that still gets me some traffic.
