Buying a domain right now. Need your opinions on TLD

I am about to buy a domain but i've been on the purchases screen for an hour trying to decide on the domain. I would love to have yalls input! I will try to give give you the best example possible.
The keyword I am targeting is 3 words: (example only)
awesome golf club (5,000 month search volume)
awesomegolfclub.com, awesomegolfclub.org, and awesomegolfclub.net are all taken but there are many others not taken like .io. me. etc,. However the .net is not taken for awesomegolfclubs.com (awesome golf clubs - with an 's' - but it only gets 1,000 monthly search volume)
Does adding the 's' to clubs hurt me at all? Will I still rank for awesome golf club with no 's'? Also everyone has their own opinion on .nets and .orgs vs .coms but will it be harder to rank a .net or .org?
Waiting on this answer before I buy the domain. Would lov to know what you all would do in this case. Thanks!
