Similar Products, Different Domains, Same Company?

Hello.
We have a website called Nothing But Padlocks - The UKs Padlock Specialist. We bought out a competitor that sells locks.
Locks and padlocks are different markets hence why we bought them to expand.
We want to keep everything under one name (Nothing But) and therefore rename the new site we bought to www.NothingButLocks.com
If we do that we'll have:
nothingbutpadlocks.com - selling padlocks
nothingbutlocks.com - selling locks
Do you think Google will see this as suspicious and potentially down rank either site or even both since they will be unlikely to see the difference between locks and padlocks?
