Niche without any ads on Google

I plan to try out a group of keywords for a niche.

But when I google them I noticed that there are zero ads SERP.

Does this definitely mean it's not profitable/no market since nobody is advertising for it?

The Clickbank product I plan to sell is actually quite common, it's just that I'm trying to approach the product from a different direction.

Do they have a good number of search volume? Are they buy keywords? Those are some factors you should to consider.

Well, for that particular term (actually it's just 2 words, it's not even a phrase nor long-tail) Google keywords says it has got more than 1000 searches/month.

Searching the term on Google without quotes showed approx 70,000 sites, and 10,000 with quotes.

Another thing I noticed is that the other related keywords yields around 50-500 searches for the "Global Monthly Search Volume" and many "Not enough data" for the current month.

Again as I said before, the affiliate product is not something new, in fact if you were to use the normal way of promoting this product, it has over 2million sites on google for the general keyword and gets more than 10,000 searches per month. But the approach I'm trying to position this product (with these keywords) doesn't show huge searches.

But I still think it's worth a shot, it's just that I want to be sure I'm targeting the right keywords because I may try PPC ads for this.

In general, I'd say yes. If you've got cash to spare, test it out; you should be able to get it at a low rate...

The "Estimated Avg. CPC" shows 2.57.

I haven't started my research on PPC yet but at $2 that's not low right?

Guys like Armand Morin are talking about how he bids at $0.03 or something like that.

I was actually thinking of trying it out for say 50 bucks over a week.

The best thing to do is go for it, try it. There is no way we can tell is it profitable or not especially if you don't tell exactly what the keyword is ( and I agree with that too :-) ), however, don't forget to take note for every steps, so you don't do the same mistake in case this one is not profitable.
