Hello guys,

How can I find out more about my keyword/keyphrase competitors? I looked at their source code, found out their backlinks but that doesn't help me calculate more and make my strategy.

Thanks
#competition #keyword or keyphrase

Have you tried any keywords tools like Adwords from google. You can insert your competitors URL and then it list their keywords. Or you pay for a professional tool for more in-depth search. You can also pay someone to do your research. try Fiverr.

I know my competitors' keywords/keyphrases, what I don't know is what I need to do now? Just use the same keywords/keyphrases and try to get HQ backlinks in order to rank up?

The most common keyword tool that people will use is Google Adwords Keyword Planner.

From the tools, you can analyse number of searches google receive for keyword terms. it is a great tool to look for long tail keywords too.

There is Competition tab.. however it is targeted to Advertisers.. not in SEO perspetive.

Hope this helps and let me know what you think.

I am interested in SEO pers, and not in advertisers as you said.

      Thanks for your replies!

Use Google Adwords Keyword Planner tool for keywords research analysis. Add your website's product or service and then click on "get ideas". Then you will get keywords ideas related to your website. Keeping in mind the normal user's point of view and your website targeted location, if any, you can also add some keywords in the tab and can check the average searches and competitions of that keywords. Doesn't use single keyword. Choose the keyword phrases that a normal user can type for searching and that have high average searches and low or medium competition.
