      Big names are all no follow. Try smaller one maybe some of them offering do follow links to attract spammers

      If you have something good, Reddit can give you some decent traffic. It is kind of a one time deal though (for each article) because they really hate spammers.

      All social sites are nofollow. They have to be. Examples on that
      sorry list: pinterest, reddit, youtube, tumblr.....all nofollow.

    You will never get do-follow links from good social sites unless you try the spammy ones that are certainly not worth the effort. Use web 2.0s instead and tiered link building and you'll get better results.

    Most social bookmarking sites have no-follow attributes but can give you the traffic you need. My own personal favorite would be Reddit. But for social bookmarking sites that allow do-follow's, there is Tumblr. You can also share some links in relevant Forum Sites.

      Yes.. you can drive traffic into your website from stumbleupon. I have a sites averaging 100-10K UV a day traffic from SU, but it's not stable. Maybe you can get 100 UV today tomorrow 5K other days 0. If you're promoting a product or affiliate the conversion is very low even adsense.

      Here is what my team doing to send traffic to our wesites or clients that need stumbleupon traffic.

      1. Be sure that you follow as many member as you can, the reason why you do this is that someone will eventually follow you back and share your shares.

      2. Join topics that related to the site/s you're promoting
      3. Like, share, and comment other members entry. If you do this regularly , other members will noticed you. And they will do the same for you in return

      4. Base on our experiments, pages with beautiful pictures capture the eyes of members. They also get more like and share.
      5. Beside of good looking pictures, list type content also got many shares and like.
