Disavow Backlinks Question

Within Webmaster Tools, I am trying to disavow backlinks from a website.

There are hundreds of spammy links from one source.

Instead of copy and pasting all of these URLs, can I instead just submit the domain name for the whole website?

This would save tonnes of time.

Ok thanks - So I was going to get a list of domains today.

How do I get EVERY backlink? I am trying backlinkwatch.com but it only shows 1000 max.

Also, if I upload a disavow file today, how long will this take to be processed normally?

Will I be able to upload extra domains to ignore in the future or just this one?

      Thanks,

      Simon

Ahrefs.com is the most comprehensive backlink checker but there's no tool that can show you every backlink your site has. Make sure you upload all the links and domains you want to disavow because every new disavow file replaces the previous ones.

The length of time it takes Google to process the disavow file varies.

        domain:spamdomain4.com
        This format is correct.

Thank you. I'm now getting someone on Fiverr.com to run a full ahrefs report then I will choose all the spammy links from here.

Come on man...be serious. If you are really, really serious, stay the frick away
from fiverr....10 to 1 that's what got you into trouble in the first place.

Use the domain: attribute as that will cover all links from that domain.

Remember though the disavow tool won't work or help you remove that link. In fact the disavow really is a smokes and mirrors tool. I would recommend getting the link removed.

    Hi,

You need to be able to control your disavow yourself. Take time doing it on your own. Go through a page each day until you have your list ready for submission. This way you have complete control over the process. If this is your website then put the effort doing it yourself. I hate when people say they need to get help with something which is simplistic for you.

Go into Webmasters...Search and links point to your website going through a page at a time.

Since you only need domain, you'll find it there.

Well, you can use the format like

    # Contacted owner of exampleexample.com on X/XX/XXXX to
    # ask for link removal but got no response
    domain:exampleexample.com

I would say that should be enough to do the trick !
