Are the SERP's so incredibly jumpy or is it me?

I took a network down, and then another one, I made huge adjustments to another network, I removed links from that adjusted network as well and I placed new links for clients and my own sites.

And the rankings are JUMPY WOW, which you would kind of expect after such huge overhaul of things, though I can't imagine Google picks that all up so quickly so is there more going on, are you also seeing huge changes in rankings like +500 positions for 4 keywords and few days after -500 and then up again the week after?

How fast did you place the links on your PBN? Link velocity is one of the way's google uses to catch spam.

Anyway, the Same thing is happening to me. My rankings are all over the place, this is why I do not like Google.

It might just be a refresh.

My friend on the other hand still has solid rankings. This brings me to suspect the type of links he has. We both used greyhat and PBN's.

I used greyhat and PBN's as well, and still do, but there are a million different ways to do it so that doesn't say anything.

Afterall a PBN link is just a link on a (preferable) high PR domain.

We placed few links and spread them out, anyway good to hear I'm not the only one with rankings all over the place.
