Best SEO Tricks after latest Google Update

Hey all.. I am not an SEO Expert but SEO has become my Search Subject for past couple of Weeks.. After reading several articles i came to know that every now and then Google Updates its Algorithm and all the SEO's needs to follow those updates. I am a newbie in this field so i just wanted to know which is the latest Google Update and what SEO steps you need to follow after this update..

    Entire SEO is revolving round the content, Need to have unique content in your website.Social shares, Need to participate actively in social media, need to avoid spamming. Get quality back links from same industry.

    You should be asking what works in SEO today, not what the latest updates and tricks are. This is what works:

    - great content
    - quality backlinks
    - social signals

    There are no tricks to SEO and actually Google is updating algorithms to make sure they can't be tricked. The best idea is to simply become the authority for your niche/subject with the best content and become known in your field as the go to place for that subject. Also, quality backlinks help, though my preference is that these backlinks be from other authorities in the niche.

    SEO, Content Marketing and Social Media are more related than ever. You should work on the three equally to get the best results.

    Some tips:
    • Most B2B & B2C have 3-5 active accounts on social networks.
    • Look for a niche and create high quality content for that niche.
    • Write and get some guest post, this are very useful( Trick: There are people on fiverr that for $5 write a review or allow you to write for important blogs) (Trick2: Search "niche" + write for us to search for website looking for guest bloggers)
    • Create accounts at the following website feedback sites and receive some feedback:ConceptFeedback.com, BounceApp.com, SuggestionBox.com , Criticue.com

    Just do the PPC, there will be people everywhere that wil share your link once they see your ad is interesting. backlinks still are useful right?

      Stop looking for a shortcut to the top coz there isn't any, even if you've finally found one it won't last very long and next thing you know your site is nowhere to be found, trust me, I learned it the hard way. I'm not an expert, but based on my experience i can say stay away from any "get ranked quick" scheme, they all crap.

        Dofollow contextual link still work best but avoid public blog networks where they don't use excerpts on the home / category pages as that will get you penalized.

        In other words avoid links on pages that host a ton of links about different topics, other link types to avoid are bookmarks, web directories, blog comments.

    It is so true, you can not trick Google anymore these days. SEO is very hard work you need to write good content and promote your web site as much as possible.
