which one would you choose?

I like doing affiliate marketing in different countries. So far I've only promoted affiliate products in Germany and Switzerland and have done well, much better than marketing to the USA/UK etc.

Today I found a Portuguese term (2 keywords) that has an average of 6,600 searches per month according to GKP and I noticed the .com is available to register. When I put the term in quotes there are about 8,700 results in Google.com.br. The term has high commercial intent. The niche could be classed as a desperate buyer niche.

I also found a two word term in Italian. This one has 3,600 searches per month and once again I discovered that the .com is available to register. In quotes this one is around 4,900 and again has high commercial intent.

Both terms mean the same thing in English.

Which domain would you choose? Would you register the domain in Portuguese and build a site for the Brazilian market etc. or for the Italian market? I could do both of course but if you had to go for one which would it be?

Do Italians buy online more than the Portuguese or is there not much difference?

Do your research on EMD. You shouldn't buy a domain that is the exact match. Do your research first.

I find EMD rank very well as long as you don't add spammy content, and particularly well in non English Google search engines.

    Ignore the response above ^^^^^

I would look at the biggest online stores in Brazil and Italy selling both products to find out which one sells the most. If there isn't much difference between the two, I would pick the Portuguese term because it has more searcb volume.
