How much traffic can Google really give you if you're good at SEO ?

I read about people talking about their traffic from Google , but can Google a site itself really give you 15,000 visitors a day if you are really good at SEO ? Is Google really that big to send that many visitors just to your site in one day ?? If you coud please shed some light on this , I'd appreciate it .. For those of you good at SEO , how much traffic does Google send your way per day ?

    One cannot predict the traffic. I believe that it is based in the industry. And also the competition of the keywords basically that are dependent on the traffic in the overall process.

      I am NOT asking you to predict anything , I am just saying for those successful at SEO in general , if they're good at their craft , what's the highest potential of traffic google can give you .. if there are any studies done out there from very successful sites .

    You can not shape a question like this. You asked it in a wrong way. For example, if there is some keyword that is huge in popularity in Google, Google can send you 1000000 visitors per day, of course, if you are in first place in search results. Also, you can be first in search results for some not so competitive keyword, and get only 100 visitors per day form Google. It all depends.

      So does SEO only work for specific keywords that you are trying to rank ? How about ranking a whole website in general so it does better in general on Google ? How would I go about that ?

        You ain't getting my point here, SEO is possible for any keyword.
        If you want to get traffic from the keywords you rank, you have to ensure they have sufficient number of monthly queries otherwise it would be a waste of your time.

            You are totally misinformed. There are plenty of site ranked on the first page for their specific keywords and get thousands of visitors a day. Also millions of people are on the internet daily. I truly hope you are being sarcastic..lol

        I think we are talking about traffic per keyword, one by one. It is hard to measure web sites as they tend to vary in sizes and number of keywords they include.

    Why do you even care what others have for traffic volume?

    No two sites are the same as far as conversions, even sites in the same niche.

    You could have one guy with 500 traffic per month making $50K selling cars, another guy with 10K traffic per month making $11.50 selling tube socks.

    Its impossible to predict how much traffic google will send you. But yes I know sites that get literally thousands of search engine visits a day, its taken them time but its worth it when you keep at it.

      It totally depends on the keywords that you are targeting.

      For example, if you rank #1 for "facebook" (which is not possible). You will get millions of visitors per day because the keyword has a search volume of 414,000,000/month [semrush].

      On the other hand, if you rank #1 for "hidsfksdj", you will get ZERO visitors. Because no one is searching for "hidsfksdj".
