Do de indexed sites that no longer load or hosting is deleted affect rankings ?

Hello,

Simple question really, if hosting is deleted, account and all, and not resolving anymore if you had a toxic link on it does that still count in Google's eyes as a toxic link and needs to be disavowed, or infact it does not count anymore ?

Ive heard mixed reactions from some guru's and want to know what you guys think

      Point taken, i just checked and the link is not indexed in Google so i presume it has no effect, but what happens if its is indexed but the hosting is gone what then ?

        Google will keep counting it until Googlebot revisits the page and finds out that the link is no longer there.
