How Long For Google To See New Backlink?

I have started a backlinking process for my sites...most do-follow and some no-follow. How long can I expect to wait until Google finds these new backlinks. I check webmaster tools and my control panel. Are there any other places to check to see if Google has recognized the new backlinks. Also, will Google list a no-follow backlink in webmaster tools?

Thanks

My experience has been that you'll even see the NF sites show up in the list. Doesn't mean that Google counted it.

Google doesnt update their webmaster tools often.. As the guy above me said, this doesnt mean google didnt find any of your backlinks. Most if the time i just use a tool as seoelite to check my backlink count.

Google doesn't count all backlinks that it crawls immediately, usually there is a delay. Backlinks can take anything from a couple minutes to an indefinite amount of time to appear.

You can use Pingler to quicken the process.

Google's next crawling time takes anywhere from a couple days to a couple weeks, depending on the frequency of which a site is updated with content. In fact, the indexing of the homepage even differs from that of the other pages.

The short answer is that Google will see a new back link the next time the site that is linking-in is icrawled.

Right, there is no set time. Links on heavily crawled sites are found quickly. Links on less-frequently crawled sites usually show up later (unless it gets crawled once every two weeks and you happen to post your link just before it gets crawled).

See why there's no real answer to the question?
