Which would help my site rank better

I have written a few 500-1000 word articles for my Amazon site which have been placed on my site. However I have been reading about Web 2.0 pages linking to sites in order to boost their ranking.

My question is: Would I be better of placing my own written articles on my site and linking to other pages on my site (interlinking), or, should I write my own articles and place them on Web 2.0 pages with maybe 2 links back to my site in the articles?

Which would help my site to rank better?

    The answer is both, but it's not really the way to go; especially if you're new to SEO.

    You'd be much better off doing this:

    1. Concentrating on adding worth to your money site;
    2. Growing traffic platforms on social networks;
    3. Reinvesting part of your profits into media buys.

    Don't forget to concentrate on growing a list, too.
