My blog had 6.xx MozRank and suddenly after couple of months it came down to 4.xx

What went wrong? I was not penalised, no dip in traffic nothing. How do I regain the mozRank back?

I believe Domain Authority and mozRank are one of the important ranking factors now, succeeding Page Rank.

It's probable that your site lost some backlinks or the sites linking to yours lost some of their authority.

DA and MR are just more reliable and slightly more accurate, but the main advantage that Toolbar PR used to have over DA and other third party metrics is the fact that PR reflects penalties (I.e. if your site is penalised your PR will drop) but the others don't.

you should consider doing is creating “nofollow” outgoing or not so important links. We’ve written up a blog entry on “Nofollow” rules to help you out a bit, so check that out if you aren’t quite sure what this means.
