I am working for a client and I found a wikipedia page of that client. But when I search for the keyword, nowhere the wikipedia page ranks on SERP. What strategies I have to follow to rank wikipedia page for that specific keyword?

Build relevant internal links directly on Wikipedia with the keyword as anchor-text. Keep building until the page ranks.

If the client has a money page/site don't outrank their own site/page.

Wikipedia does not rank directly by just not building relevant and valuable links that Google liked. It is better that you should do both on-page and off-page optimization. Building internal links like Yukon said is necessary, and make sure the wiki content optimizes well that Google really wants. As for the off-page, you just have to build it to numerous authority sites either Tier 1 or Tier 2 like Web 2.0's, relevant wiki sites, document sharing sites, slideshow sharing sites, engaging in social media groups and communities, adding relevant videos on video sharing sites like Youtube and so on. I hope this will help you a lot to get things going, and good luck!
