Would google penalize for this? It is a site in the dating niche.

Having certain words in the content can definitely hurt your Google rankings. Not sure whether those words in the domain name would have an impact or not. That being said, I'd avoid using the word for marketing reasons. Most visitors in the dating niche want to believe (justifiably so in most cases) that their online dating experience is classy. Having "sex" in the domain name is not going to accomplish that goal.

And you have something about keyword research in your sig?

Perhaps you need to do a little more research....like a lot of you people.

That reply makes absolutely no sense.

See the people that want a travel site dealing with airplanes or cruises, would never
      think of using a kayak.

Sex iin your domain name would make it look like a porn site rather than a dating site, so avoid, whether it has SEO implications or not.

If your aiming to rank for porn keywords, the domain/keyword isn't a problem.

Something in the line of (plural noun) +experts.com has sex in its domain. Would Google bother to penile-ize you for that? (pun intended)

Maybe you should avoid it. As I see it, the word is so "old news" already, we're in 2015, not the 80's, I'm just sayin'! But, for safety reasons, it's best if you find another idea for your domain name.

  • If its a porn website then its your main keyword otherwise avoid such keyword as it will hamper your reputation and your website would be misread to be porn as most of the moderators of ther website wont accept term like "sex" and you would not get credit on your work.

      That makes even less sense.

You people have no clue as to how google works, or what real people
      search for.

It's a dating site. Probably a casual dating site.

Just did a great search for similar. This site came up as an ad above
the results, no less: 4.4/5 star rating!!!!!

I have no idea what planet you people live on.

Someday, someday, someone is going to tell me.

I have no idea why people think those sites are bad for seo, for google, or
any other such rot. Google aims to please.
